Biography
I cannot remember a time when I was not pursuing an artistic adventure.
My studies in drawing, painting, sculpture and textiles have brought me full circle to this body of work. By creating interplay of the traditional still life with a modern twist of abstraction, I am able to show complexity and simplicity simultaneously. The backgrounds are indeterminate so that the viewer can focus on the the play of shape and color. The subjects can be whimsical or quiet and contemplative. Their creation evolved from my passion for the culinary arts in the form of vessels and containers.
The melding of my studies and passions have created a passage way for me to communicate to you the viewer...a visual feast.
